Instituto Michelangelo

I recently spent two weeks, studying Italian in the Instituto Michelangelo in Florence.

Apart from the cultural experience, Florence is truly very beautiful, the school offered teaching of the highest quality, with museum and gallery visits as well as specially organised evenings when the multi national student groups could mix in the ambience of an Italian restaurant or local festival.

The Instituto is situated close to Piazza Santa Crocce and within ten minutes walk of the River Arno so in my leisure time I could easily explore the sites of the old city, enjoy a glass of Vermentino, or a gelato al cioccolato, even a double expresso to keep me going.

It was in the end though, the helpfulness of the Institute’s staff which made my visit so terrific.  Nothing was too much trouble. I recommend them and their Institute to anyone looking to learn or improve their Italian language skills.

Molte Grazie a tutti Michelangelo!
